Working and finishing Tigerwood
Very hard, dense and stiff, giving it good stiffness and durability for decking and flooring; interlocked and irregular grain can tear out, so cutters need to be sharp and feed rates moderate.
A UV-inhibiting exterior finish is recommended for decking use to slow colour change; indoors it takes oil and film finishes well and shows off the striped figure.
