Working and finishing Canary Wood
Works reasonably well overall; can have interlocked or irregular grain that tears out in spots, so test cuts on scrap first. Glues and turns well.
A UV-inhibiting finish slows fading from the bright yellow-orange fresh-cut colour toward a more muted brown; a popular exotic accent wood for cutting boards, furniture and turned objects.
Sold as is. Grain, colour and figure vary from piece to piece. Confirm the dimensions your build needs before you buy.
